Young "Soulja" Skrilla

Meet Rap sensation "Young "Soulja" Skrilla", who is blazing into the music industry. Young Skrilla is a highly celebrated rapper from New Orleans 3rd Ward's Magnolia Projects. He is currently an affiliate artist on the roster of C-Murder's TRU Records. Young Skrilla released his first online only mixtape Supaheroes: Hot Az a Heata Vol. 1 in 2006 on Yukmouths Godzilla Ent.. Young Skrilla was formally signed with Smoke-A-Lot Records, a record label owned and operated by James Prince and Yukmouth of the Luniz. Afterwards, Yukmouth & Young $krilla decided to part ways due to creative differences, Young Skrilla began his own imprint, Duck Tapin Entertainment.

Young "Soulja" $krilla maintains tight allegiance to Rap-A-Lot records. He even still dons his white gold Rap-A-Lot Records diamond encrusted pendant. He proclaims that "Even though everyone else is doing thier own thing, or they jumped ship, I always will remember the first label that gave me a chance. I am a loyal person and Rap-A-Lot is where I will always call home". With strong loyalties to J. Prince and C-Murder's TRU Records (Skrilla's cousin Kernell Reynolds is President of TRU Records) he values being real over the cliche "clique jumping" rappers do nowa-days.

With 4 mixtapes under his belt, 2 released in 2005, 1 in 2007 and 1 with is half-brother Clipp-Dilly in 2008 called "High way to Hell" (Supahero vol. 3 sold almost 100,000 downloads and streams to date), Young Skrilla's Major Label Debut album "Dat Voo-Doo" is a highly anticipated hit for Spring 2009.
